Tipin had spent his whole morning raking fallen holden leaves into an enormous pile. When Pip had wondered past the giant pile, he knew that giant piles of leaves were piled for one reason, and one reason only.

Pip leaped into the pile, only his feet could be seen. Then his head popped out, wearing a golden oak leaf as a hat. The pile was warm and rustle and smelled wonderfully of autumn. The leaves after all could wait to be tidied.
